God’s Spirit renews our strength

Heavenly Father, we call upon you to guide us in our devotion today. Move each of us to listen carefully to your Word so that you can send the Holy Spirit into our hearts and strengthen our faith. Quiet our anxieties and reassure us of your love, especially during these difficult times. Help us also, O Lord, to apply your message to our daily lives. We ask this in your name. Amen.

Prayer for  God’s Strength

 

Dear God, We thank you for the Power of your Word and your Presence over our lives. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper, for greater are You who is in us, than he who is in the world. We pray that you will cast down every threat and accusation, every abusive word and cruel attack hurled our way. We praise you that nothing is impossible with you, that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. We trust in you alone, to rise up strong on our behalf. Thank you that you are our Defender and Strong Tower, our Refuge and our Strength. Thank you that you fight for us today, and in our weakness, you make us strong. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

 

Prayer Of Strength For The Weary

 

Father God, how wonderful to know that You have provided all that is necessary to live a godly life in Christ Jesus. Your grace truly is sufficient to supply whatever needs and necessities we may have to face, and thank You that no matter how difficult the circumstances that arise in our lives, nor how lonely the path may be, Your grace is sufficient for Your strength is made perfect in our weakness.

I pray, that You would provide all that I need to face today and that You would renew my spirit within me as I rest in Your love. Strengthen me in every way I pray, emotionally, physically and spiritually, and thank You, Father, for Your wonderful promise that, "they that wait upon You shall have their spirit renewed and mount up with wings like eagles." Thank You, Lord, and praise Your holy name that You are my strength and my God. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

 

Prayer For Focus And Strength

 

Heavenly Father, I pray today that my spirit may be yielded to You completely and that throughout the day my focus will remain on You. Lord, I thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness and that as I depend upon You in thought, word and deed, You in Your grace, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory. Thank You, that in You I have the strength I need to face the day, the wisdom I need to inform my choice and the grace I need to live godly in Christ Jesus, no matter what difficulties or problems may manifest themselves. Lord, I know that without You I can do nothing, but I praise and thank You that I can do all things through Christ, Who gives me the strength. Praise His holy name. Amen.

Praying For God’s Strength – Full Armor

 

Heavenly Father, I pray that I may take up the full armor of God and resist all the works of the enemy in this evil day in which we live. I pray that I may walk in spirit and truth and being clothed in Christ's own righteousness. May I receive the power from above to stand fast in this evil day and to resist the principalities and powers - to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus name, Amen

Prayer For Physical and Emotional Strength

 

Heavenly Father,  I ask you to strengthen my mind, body and spirit today. When I’m weary, may I be refreshed. When I’m worn, may I be renewed. When I’m broken, may I be restored. When I’m worn, may I become faithful. I pray that I  walk in complete confidence today knowing that the Lord Almighty is with me. Amen.

Prayer to Trust God and Surrender All

 

Heavenly Father, I surrender every area of my mind, will and emotions to You. I choose to dwell in Your goodness and faithfulness so that the good seeds You’ve planted in my life take root. Keep me close to You and direct my steps down the good path You have prepared for me. In Jesus name. Amen

Prayer For Strength and Wisdom

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need. It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say. God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid. Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord. I know that the situation is in Your hand, and I trust You. I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name. In Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer for Guidance and Strength

Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My heart is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the right way to a just and right resolution.  Thank you for hearing my prayer and for  staying by my side. Amen.
