We believe that one day out of the week dedicated for community and Jesus is not enough. That is why we host Midweek! It takes place on Wednesdays at 7pm and it is similar to our Sunday services. We use this time to dive deeper into the Bible and have a more intimate time.
Pastor Nestor is the Campus pastor for Dayspring Church at Mission Hills. He graduated from LABI Bible School in 2005 as valedictorian and then obtained his bachelors in theology in 2013 with high honors. throughout his ministry career he first became a youth pastor at the age of sixteen and transitioned as the Campus Pastor in 2012 and has been serving there ever since. When not in church he can be spotted at Dodger Stadium with his wonderful wife and his two daughters.
Prior to joining LABI College, Ruben worked as District Youth Director for Southern Pacific District from 1998 to 2006 and as Christian Education Director from 1998 to 2002. He has also done extensive missionary outreaches through Central and South America, Europe and Africa. He has led many Missions Trips into various settings, most recently leading some LABI College students into the jungles of Ecuador to minister the Waodani tribe. He has preached the Gospel in many different settings, some include prisons, conventions (youth, men, and women), camps, churches, universities, hospitals, stadiums, and multiple street evangelism settings. He has seen countless numbers of people come to Christ because of his efforts. He has also assisted other evangelistic outreaches as crusade director.
Pastor Ruben originally joined LABI College in 2010 working as CFO until 2018 and as Vice-President of Advancement until his new appointment.
Ruben is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and Southern Pacific District since July 2008. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Theological Studies from Vanguard University. He is an LABI College alumnus (1995) and Latin American Theological Seminary (2006). He has been married to his wife Patty for 22 years and they have 2 children, Josh and Keilah
Manolo is the formation Pillar Pastor here at Dayspring MH campus. He and his wife joined our team in 2019. He obtained a certificate of biblical studies from Fuller. Prior to joining Dayspring he served as Pastor of New hope church for five years. Manolo is married to Grace and have two kids Ashlin and Caleb. Manolo enjoys the the outdoors primarily mountain biking and hiking. Manolo has competed and completed eight marathons and two triathlons. His motto “your greatness message will be spoken by your life Not your lips”.
